AGREEMENT / RULES AND REGULATIONS

Compensation – Vendor must pay
Association for each applicable show Vendor is set-up at. Payment is due to Association payable to the
Scott-Carver Threshers’ Association.
Full payment is due regardless of number of actual sales or use. Gate entrance fees are waived for vendors. For the May Swap Meet the cost is $20.00 for
an outside spot (20’ x 30’); $25.00 for an inside building spot (12’ x
10’). For the August Harvest Festival
the cost is $30.00 for an outside spot (20’ x 30’); $35.00 for an inside
building spot (12’ x 10’).
Exhibit Hours – Association will
establish exhibit hours and reserves the right to make changes. However, such changes shall be made as far in
advance of the event as possible. Each
Vendor is required to keep at least one attendant in respective booth during
all exhibit hours.
Booth Assignment – The Association
will specify assignment of booth space by vendor. All tables, chairs, tents, and equipment is
supplied by the vendor.
Vendor Set-up – Vendor is solely
responsible for set-up of their merchandise and/or equipment. Set-up of Vendor booth may be done in advance
the day prior to each event. It is the
Vendors’ responsibility to mark and identify all crates and boxes. Crates and boxes not properly marked and
stored outside the assigned Vendor area are the sole responsibility of the
Vendor and the Association will not be held responsible for any lost or stolen
items.
Buildings – All buildings will be locked at
night for the May Swap Meet and the August Festival.
Generators – If a generator is used, please use a
‘low-noise’ generator. No generator use
is allowed after 9:00 PM each night.
Extension Cords – All extension
cords must be ground proof, insulated, and three pronged. All electrical cords need to be approved
prior to use. NO OUTSIDE ELECTRICITY and
inside electricity is limited.
Damages & Indemnity – Assigned booth
space must be left in substantially the same condition as it was when Vendor
arrived, including but not limited to being free of all trash and refuse. Vendor will pay for the cost of any repair or
replacement due to any damage caused by the Vendor to the Associations
showground property.
No Sponsorship or Endorsement – By entering this
Agreement for the use of space, Association does not endorse or sponsor
activities of the Vendor.
Hold Harmless – Vendor agrees to
indemnify and hold harmless the Association for any and all injuries, claims,
losses and/or damages incurred on or off the premises during the events,
including, but not limited to set-up and clean-up periods.
Desirable Items – Handmade crafts or
products, toys, jewelry, antiques, collectibles, machinery related items or
parts, machinery models, old literature, cleaning products, fruits, vegetables,
or any other items related to agriculture, lumbering, or manufacturing from the
distant past. Items Not Allowed include fireworks or any item related to fireworks
(smoke bombs, jumping jacks, sparklers, firecrackers, etc.), x-rated items, balloons or carnival like items, toy guns,
or weapons of any kind. This is a family
oriented festival devoted to recreating our historical past.
Parking – No parking of any kind between the
buildings. This is a fire code.
Vendor agrees - to observe and
abide by the forgoing Rules and Regulations for the efficient and safe
operation, including but not limited to those contained in this agreement. The Association has the sole right to close a
Vendor and/or withdraw its acceptance of this Agreement, and may refuse to
consider Vendor for participation in future events.
