Location: Auction and Swap Meet will be held at the Scott-Carver Thresher's grounds located west of Jordan, Minn.  Go N on Co Rd 9 to 190th St then W Fairview Lane, then S to grounds or go W of Jordan US 169 to OK Corral then N on Delaware to T road, then E on 195th to Fairview Lane.

**The only vehicles allowed on the grounds will be golf carts, lawn mowers without decks, and handicap scooters.  These vehicles need to be registered at the tractor registration booth and show insurance information and driver’s license.  Other vehicles allowed will be club officials and workers.

 

Annual Swap Meet will be held in conjunction with the Consignment Auction.  AUCTION ITEMS: we will accept farm machinery (mid 70s or older please), tractor parts, magnetos, gears, radiators, sheet metal, wheels, farm toys, tools, etc.  Also older farm machinery of the same era, horse equipment, buggies & wagons, sleds, sleighs & usable harness. Mid 70's & older collectible cars & trucks are also welcome.  All vehicles must be accompanied with a title.  Collector parts are also welcome - parts will be sold at the discretion of the Auctioneers.  No household items will be accepted. We are trying to stay with the theme of the Scott-Carver Thresher's Assn.

To consign: Please send a description of your item along with a picture to Ediger Auction Service, 218 West Main St, Belle Plaine, MN or e-mail a description & picture to Edigerauctions@aol.com .  You may call us with your items at 952-873-2292.  Consignments may be delivered to the auction site on Wednesday-Thursday-or Friday from 9am to 6pm.  We will not accept any auction day deliveries.

Advertising:  sellers pay no advertising.  We will charge a 10% buyers premium on all purchases.  This will be given to the Threshers Association for advertising expense.  (This is a 10% additional cost paid by the buyer - added on to all purchases).

Pre-Ads - end of Feb.  We will place ads for upcoming consignment auctions in the following with approval of the Scott-Carver Thresher's Assn. These papers will also carry and auction highlight & general ad 7-10 days prior to the auction.  Minneapolis Sunday paper, Golden Nugget, Gold Miner, Galaxie, Home Magazine, Star Magazine, Agri-News, Land I & II, Mints-Shak-Cha-Jor-PrLake & our web site & your web site.  Our web site is: www.midwestauctions.com.  We will also place posters at other auctions.

Sellers cost: we will charge the seller a commission based on selling price per item.
$10 - $250 rate of 20%        $250 & up rate of 10%
No sales or protected items - all sellers are responsible to protect their own items or have someone there to do it for them.  The Auctioneers & Thresher's Assn will not take responsibility for this.  Any item No Sold will be charged 10% of final bid price with a maximum of $50.00

Clerking: auction will be clerked in duplicate.  Auction Co will keep the original copy and the carbon copy will be given to the Secretary of the Scott-Carver Threshers. The advertising will be broken down as to cost for each paper (we have a contract rate with the papers that we pass onto the customer).
